Functional Family Therapy (FFT)
The Functional Family Therapy (FFT) program is a family-based therapy service delivered by OzChild in partnership with Gugan Gulwan. FFT supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families with children and young people between the ages of 0–17. Family practitioners work alongside families to navigate challenges, strengthen relationships, improve communication, and build on existing strengths to support resilience, wellbeing, and hope for the future.

The FFT-CW program provides family-based therapy for families with children and young people aged 0-17 who are at risk of entering the out of home care system. The program aims to strengthen families preventing the removal of a child or young person as well as supporting reunification of a child or young person from care and is a culturally adaptive family-based program.
