Intensive Family Support Team
The Gugan Gulwan Intensive Family Support Program (IFSP) is designed to provide intensive, trauma-informed, and culturally appropriate support to First Nations families in the ACT and surrounding region. The program targets First Nations young people aged 0-25 years who are experiencing significant challenges. The IFS Program's objectives were developed to Improve health, safety, and wellbeing of children through trauma-informed support, strengthen cultural identity and family bonds, enhance communication, conflict resolution, and parenting skills, and empower First Nations parents and carers with skills, knowledge, and resources.
To access Case Management, a completed Referral Form needs to be filled out and sent to [email protected].
One of the Gugan Gulwan Referral Team members will contact you within 7 days of receiving the referral form.
