Lunch Program
The Gugan Gulwan Lunch Program is a tailored initiative operating in ACT schools as an early intervention program. It provides young people with healthy nutritious lunch options while creating opportunities to discuss and explore cultural identity, yarn (share stories), and collaborate with educators. The program aims to ensure that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people are supported and remain engaged in education. It serves as a soft entry point for participants who may be experiencing exclusion due to behaviours of concern. Responsive to community needs, the program is flexible in its delivery and operates across various locations and events throughout the ACT region.
