School Holiday Program
The Gugan Gulwan School Holiday Program operates every school holiday for Aboriginal and Torres Islander children between the ages of 8 and16 years in the ACT region. The program offers a strong cultural foundation and includes activities, events, and practices to facilitate culturally enriching experiences. The program offers young people an opportunity to socialise and participate in a variety of recreational activities in a supervised and safe environment that otherwise may not be available to them.
If you are seeking to apply for the School Holiday Program, expressions of interest are advertised a few weeks before the ACT school holidays.
Expressions of interest will be advertised on the Website and Gugan Gulwan’s social media pages. The School Holiday Program is always popular, so please keep your eyes open.
Please note: This program is in high demand, and places are limited. Priority is given to children and their families who may not have accessed the program previously.
