Gugan Gulwan Youth Aboriginal Corporation acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we walk, work, live and learn. We honour Elders past and present and extend our respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples who now call this region home. We recognise the strength, wisdom and care they bring to community, and the vital role they play in supporting our young people and families to grow strong, connected and thriving together.
NAIDOC Week- Children’s Disco
This event is held each NAIDOC Week to celebrate our young people and give them a fun night to connect, enjoy dancing while their parents, elders relax and enjoy the night. This event holds great significance for Gugan Gulwan and the broader community, as it provides an opportunity to strengthen connections with families and young people while fostering a sense of belonging and achievement.
Gugan Gulwan’s Annual Youth NAIDOC Disco will be held July 2026. More information will be available on our socials closer to the date.
The National NAIDOC Committee has unveiled its 2026 national theme, 50 Years of Deadly, marking five decades of NAIDOC Week, a week dedicated to amplifying and celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures.
