The Gugan Gulwan’s Children’s Christmas Party has always been our favourite event.
The Gugan Gulwan Children’s Christmas Party is our largest and most anticipated community event of the year, a festive day where families come together to celebrate culture, connection, and the joy of the Christmas season. As one of Gugan Gulwan’s key annual gatherings, it brings our community together in a vibrant, family‑friendly space supported by local vendors and activity providers, showcasing just how big and special this celebration has become.
Children can look forward to a magical visit from Santa, who joins us each year to spread cheer and hand out gifts to all registered kids, continuing a cherished tradition of joy and giving. Past invitations have highlighted the importance of registering children to ensure every young person receives a gift from the big man himself, making Santa’s arrival one of the day’s most loved moments.
As a Gugan Gulwan organised event, our Christmas Party reflects our commitment to supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people, and families through culturally grounded, community‑centered gatherings.
